Day 1: U.S.A. / Istanbul

Our pilgrimage begins today as you depart on our flight to Turkey.

Day 2: Arrive Istanbul

Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel. You will be greeted by your tour guide and fellow travelers, followed by a welcome dinner. B/D

Day 3: Istanbul

The tour of Istanbul will begin in the morning. We will head to Topkapi Palace, the past residence of Ottoman Sultans. Your tour goes onward to Rustem Pasha Mosque. We will continue to the Hippodrome where the athletic events took place. Then, we will explore the markets and the city. B/D

Day 4: Canakkale
We will drive to the town of Gallipoli and visit the Anzac Cemetery. Both are historical war sites. We will go across the Dardanelles and continue to the Canakkale province where you will have dinner. B/D

Day 5: Troy / Izmir
We will begin our travels by entering the classical old city of Troy. Afterwards,

we will drive to Pergamum, an ancient kingdom during the  Hellenistic period,

and visit Asklepion, an ancient spa center. We will continue to the city of Homer, Izmir. B/D

​

Day 6: Ephesus
We will visit the port city Smyrna as well as Ephesus which is considered one of the greatest ancient cities of the world. In Ephesus you will visit the House of the Virgin Mary, Ephesus Archaeological Museum, the library of Celsus, temple of Hadrian, the theater and the Odeon. After visiting these unforgettable sites we will head back to Izmir. B/D

Day 7: Pamukkale / Antalya
We will leave Izmir and drive to Pamukkale en which will lead us to Antalya. During this route we will visit the Necropolis and the ancient city of Hierapolis, the Pamukkale hot springs. B/D

Day 8: Antalya
 Antalya is a must see destination in Turkey. We will visit the Antalya

Archaeological Museum which showcases ancient artifacts dating back over thousands of years. B/D

Day 9: Cappadocia
We will visit Caravanserai of Sultanhan, a large historic city in the

Silk Road in Cappadocia. We will continue to Nevsehir in Cappadocia where

we will be staying. B/D

​

Day 10: Cappadocia
We will awake early to partake in a balloon ride that takes you flying over  Cappadocian and its fairy chimney rocks. After, we will stop at the Three Graces, Guvercinlik, Uchisar, and Avcilar Valley.You will visit the Goreme Valley to see early Christian churches. We will visit the village of Avanos and take a tour at the Ozkonak Underground City. B/D

Day 11: Ankara
Departing for Ankara, the captial of Turkey. Once arrived we will visit the Mausoleum of Kemal Ataturk. We will continue to the Anatolian Civlizations Museum which is near the Ankara Castle. The museum even contains Paleolithic Age artifacts. B/D

​

Day 12: Ankara / Istanbul

We will return Istanbul. In the evening we will enjoy a farewell dinner at the hotel before departure. B/D

Day 13: Istanbul / U.S.A.

We will be transferring from the hotel to the airport.
